सीखा दो सलीखे जो मे भूल रहा हूँ| 

मिला दो मुझीसे जो मे भूल रहा हूँ|

खुदा ने बनाया खुदाई के ही वास्ते फिर क्यूँ मे

इंसान और शैतान के बीच झूल रहा हूँ|

नेकी और बदी की लकीरे ख़तम हो गयी|

शायद जुर्म की सज़ाए भी नरम हो गयी|

यू दफ़न मेरे दिल मे शरम हो गयी|

फटटे कफ़न मे यू ही बे-गुनाह दफ़न हो गयी|

चादर और चढ़ावा छाड़ाते पत्थर और मुरदारो पे|

ईमान तो बिक रहा है इंसान की दुकानो पे|

कितने ठंड से मरते है नंगी-नंगी रातो मे|

कितने भूख से सड़ते रहे है ऐसे हालो मे!!

यू तो हर रोज़ कहानी मिलती है.

हर आदमी बुलबुला सा दिखता है
लहरो पे समुंदर नाम मोहब्बत लिखता है
किताबो मे दबे गुलाब सुर्ख हो गये..
रोटी हुई आँखो पे अब झूर्र सो गये..
यू तो हर रोज़ कहानी मिलती है.
जो कहता हूँ वो बात पुरानी लगती है

वो झड़के गिरा पत्ता खुद पेड़ बन गया.
बचपन की मौज अब खेल बन गया.
धीमी सी तफ़्टार यू तेज़ हो गयी
गीली मेहन्दी के हाथ रंग्रेज़ हो गयी.
बुलंद वो आवाज़ आज भी बुलंद है.
उन आँखो मे आज भी वही घमंड है..
सीना तान के बच्चे पन्ने पलटते है..
वो क़िस्से आज भी अलाव पे जलते है..
शान से साँसे खिलती है..
यू तो हर रोज़ कहानी मिलती है.
